The patient module allows users to create an account in the Okta Health app, connect with therapists, receive treatment requests, and access therapy-related features.
The system supports both patient-side therapist requests and therapist-side patient invitations.
Patient Side Flow #
Patients can:
- Create and log into their account
- View therapists from:
- Your Therapists
- Therapists List
- Send therapist connection requests
After therapist approval, patients can access treatment plans and therapy features.
Therapist Side Flow #
Therapists can add patients using the Add Patient form by entering the patient email.
If Patient Already Exists #
- System shows a popup that the patient already exists
- Therapist can send a treatment/request invitation directly
If Patient Does Not Exist #
- Therapist fills the complete patient details form
- Patient is added successfully
- Patient can later sign up and activate their account
Connection Workflow #
The system supports both:
- Patient-to-therapist requests
- Therapist-to-patient invitations
After connection, therapists can assign treatment plans, exercises, and sessions to patients.
